The Aspen Golf & Tennis Club provides a challenging 18-hole course set in the heart of the Rockies just minutes from downtown Aspen. This spectacular course is complete with an elegant, 6500 square foot club house featuring a fully stocked golf & tennis pro-shop, lessons, driving range, chipping and putting greens, cart rental and full service locker facilities. Instruction is available by PGA staff. Don't forget to stop by the fabulous Shlomo's on the Green Restaurant for a tantalizing array of fine foods and beverages. The Apsen Golf Club is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and has been since January 2000. At that time we were one of only two hundred in the world and the fifth in Colorado to achieve this recognition. Since then there are over 1000 worldwide. This program is designed to recognize Golf courses that maintain and demonstrate a high degree of environmental quality. To archive certification a Golf Course must certify in six categories, Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Outreach and Education,Integrated Pest Management, Water Quality and Water Conservation. The City of Aspen and the Aspen Golf Course are very proud of this certification and are very proud to be leaders in the community by being environmental stewards.
